About Dr. Altunis

Dr. Chris Altunis is a Los Angeles native who brings a unique perspective to dentistry, having grown up working alongside his parents in their dental laboratory. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UC San Diego in 2010, he discovered his true calling through shadowing experiences with local dentists. This pivotal moment led him to redirect his career path from law to dentistry, ultimately graduating from the prestigious USC Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry in 2018. Dr. Altunis is committed to lifelong learning and excellence in patient care, completing extensive continuing education courses annually with a focus on implant dentistry, endodontics, and cosmetic dentistry.

Outside the Office

When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Altunis enjoys pursuing his creative passions as an avid photographer and guitar player. He brings the same attention to detail and artistic eye to his dental practice that he applies to his hobbies, ensuring every patient receives meticulous care and beautiful results.
